How to Build a Submittal Workflow Template (Procore Web)

Objective

To build a submittal workflow template for use with the Project level Submittals tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Submittals tool.

  1. Click Configure Settings.

This opens the Submittal Settings page.

  1. Click Workflow Templates

4. Under Create new workflow template, do the following:

Note: An asterisk (*) indicates a required field. 

a.    *Template Name. Type a name for your new submittal workflow template. This is a required field.

b.    *Name. Start typing a project user's name in the Search box. Then select the appropriate user(s) from the list.

c.    Role. Select Approver.

d.    Days to Submit/Respond. Enter a number of days for the approver to submit a response. The default value is 14 days. 

  1. Click Add Step. 
  2. Repeat these steps to add another reviewer (or group of reviewers) to the workflow. 
  3. (Optional) If you want to add another template, click Add New Template. Then repeat the steps above. 
  4. Click Create template. Your new template will be available (i.e., either as the default submittal workflow template or as a template that you can select) when you create a submittal.
